My Work

About Me

I am a multimedia journalist with a passion for telling meaningful stories through reporting, photography, video, and digital media. Since earning my degree in journalism from Stony Brook University, I have built experience across print, broadcast, and digital platforms, developing a versatile skill set that allows me to adapt to the demands of today's fast-paced news industry. Whether researching complex topics, producing multimedia content, or collaborating with newsroom teams, I enjoy finding new ways to inform and engage audiences.

I currently work as a Reporter/Researcher for The Yomiuri Shimbun's New York Bureau, where I support international coverage of U.S. and Canadian news for Japan's largest newspaper. My role has strengthened my abilities in research, story development, interviewing, and fact-checking while teaching me how to work efficiently under tight deadlines and contribute to coverage for a global audience. This experience has reinforced the importance of accuracy, strong news judgment, and thoughtful storytelling.

Throughout my career, I have embraced opportunities to work across multiple forms of journalism. At Stony Brook University, I served as Managing Editor and Multimedia Editor for The Statesman and produced, anchored, and edited broadcasts for the Student Media Group. These roles allowed me to lead editorial teams, oversee multimedia coverage, and create stories using photography, video, graphics, and writing. I enjoy collaborating with others and believe the best journalism is created through teamwork, curiosity, and a commitment to serving the public.

As I continue my career, I am excited to expand my experience in broadcast and digital news production while continuing to grow as a storyteller. I am particularly drawn to opportunities that combine reporting, visual storytelling, and emerging media, and I look forward to contributing to news organizations that value innovation, collaboration, and impactful journalism.
